Halo 2, the game that revolutionized gaming ends it's 5 year run today. Last night the Cirques paid homage to the game that brought them together.
The sound of an electric guitar greeted the Cirques last night when they logged onto Halo 2 for the very last time to pay tribute to the game that launched the clan so many years ago. Halo 2 was more than just a game. It created communities, friendships and relationships that continue to exist long after the xbox had been shut turn and put away.
After pressing the guide button a couple of times and figuring out that wasn't the right way to invite people into games, I took the time to look at the clan list tab. To see how many members the Cirques had started off with, who'd been promoted and who was still a peon (namely my husband.) Oh clan tab, how I have missed you! It was over 3 years ago since that list had been updated so f ... Zombies. Everyone loves to kill them. They manage to turn up in games a heck of a lot. They usually lurch around trying to feast on braaaaaains, and usually can be killed in the most gory of ways. It's hard to not love killing these shambling beasties. Still, five games have to date managed to rise up above the sea of zombie games currently out there. In such a competitive field, it takes a special game to become recognizable above the others. F1at Lines takes a look into this popular genre, and tries to rank the top 5.
This was a tough choice, and some titles probably and arguably deserve to make the top five over some I list below. That said, I think my top 4 are rock solid, and the only arguments really could be how they rank one through four. But, let's get to the choices:
5. Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse This title is the oldest title making the top 5, though some of the higher ranked titles definitely have roots that pre-date Stubbs. This game offered a pretty unique twist for a zombies game. Instead of mutilating ...
