It is exciting times here in Clown Town. The Cirques continue to thrive and add quality new members to its mix! Most recently, we have added two more new Cirques to our roster - UTVolFan and CdG Drednawt. I don't think I need to explain the origins of VolFan's gamertag, but will point out that Dred changed his gamertag entirely of his freewill :),
Over the past month, the Cirques have been lucky enough to have received applications from quality gamers who have all expressed an interest in either donning our sexy clown makeup or wishing to drive our clown cars. Some have perhaps just been keen to try to dihncliff the dihn or harrass KitKatGrrl. Perhaps for some, it was a little of everything. Irregardless, these are exciting times here at CdG, and we're happy to announce or two most recent additions - UTVolFan and CdG Drednawt.
Both of our newest Cirques first found us over at GeezerGamers, and I believe their first interactions with the clan was in COD:MW2. However, since that time, both have been playing Halo as well as COD, and both are eagerly looking forward to the H ... Halo 2, the game that revolutionized gaming ends it's 5 year run today. Last night the Cirques paid homage to the game that brought them together.
The sound of an electric guitar greeted the Cirques last night when they logged onto Halo 2 for the very last time to pay tribute to the game that launched the clan so many years ago. Halo 2 was more than just a game. It created communities, friendships and relationships that continue to exist long after the xbox had been shut turn and put away.
After pressing the guide button a couple of times and figuring out that wasn't the right way to invite people into games, I took the time to look at the clan list tab. To see how many members the Cirques had started off with, who'd been promoted and who was still a peon (namely my husband.) Oh clan tab, how I have missed you! It was over 3 years ago since that list had been updated so f ... One of the official definitions of the verb 'tinker' is to busy oneself with a thing without useful results. However, in our case, this definition is not applicable. We've found that by Tink-ering our lineup, we've ended up with a very useful result. Please welcome our newest Cirque - Tinko Roboto!
It is exciting times here in Clown Town. We've experienced some exciting growth recently, by adding some new Cirques to our already great lineup of Cirque-folk. In Tinko Roboto, we've added yet another great person to our lineup. This is one time where tinkering our roster really improved things.
We've known Tink for a long time from many great gaming nights with her and her fiancé FrewT on a multitude of battlefields in Halo and also in Call of Duty. Tink has been able to spend hundreds of gaming hours with the Cirques and vice versa, so when she honored us by applying to join - it was a real no brainer. Tink brings her deadly slaying skills to play every game, be it by wielding a BR or an Assault Rifle. She in many ways was ... Watch out, watch out, the Brits are invading! Slowly but surely, the Cirques are stockpiling Brits, secretly stashing them in place for a planned co-join US and UK invasion into the Halo Reach Beta. Please welcome our newest Cirque - FragBucket!
FragBucket is the newest Cirque, accepting our invitation to join the clan this past Monday night. He becomes our fourth member with British ties, and our third located in the USA. Like F1at1ined and KitKatGrrl, FragBucket also calls the Eastern side of the USA home now. Our fourth British Cirque, I shortbloke I, remains back in the UK. Actually, to be precise, FragBucket is actually Welsh, and I think we have two or three Welsh folks in the clan as well. Aren't we becoming multi-national?
FragBucket is a passionate Halo enthusiast, and brings great personality, attitude and effort to the fight along with his BR and AR. He has fitted in seamlessly alongside the Cirques, and we were delighted that he decided to apply to join us. ... We were looking over our clan roster the other day, and noticed we had a glaring hole in the 'Camel Driver' field. Never truly knowing quite when camel driving will become vogue, or at worst a new vehicle in Halo (I mean, we already race warthogs and mongeese, so could camels be far behind?), we decided to snag us a bona fide member with solid camel driving connections. Luckily for us, we happen to know one such fellow, and now have a strong monopoly on licensed camel driving in Indiana. Let me present our newest Cirque - keworth2347!
I apologize to Keworth for the tardiness of this article, but Keworth has been a Cirque for perhaps 2 weeks or so. In many ways, he's been practically a Cirque for months, but it's nice to make it official. Joining us from one of our great sister GeezerGamers clans, Keworth brings a positive and infectious attitude into any party he joins or hosts. He can be found roaming the dunes of Sandtrap and skulking in the scrubland of Wasteland. You may see him zooming about in a warthog, or perhaps piloting an AC-130. He's a jack of all trades.
We call him 'Key', but in all honesty, if he could spell Kenworth, we'd be calling him Ken. However, for reasons unspecified, either his 'N' was broken, or maybe it was stuck, or he just had a m ... |
