Thanks for the Games TTL: Cirques Win 3-2 in close matches!

The Cirques would like to thank the TTL Gunslingers for the H3 clan match on Tuesday April 22nd.
After completely being slaughtered in COD4, the Cirques wanted to try and battle TTL in a recreational
clan match to test our crazy Halo skilz on a truly organized and seasoned clan. Here are the results.
TTL quickly rushed into the base with a mongoose, catching us unaware while they got into position and quickly made
use of their vehicles and weapons. They managed to score the first flag by gradually moving it under Froman while
the Cirques made a mad dash to the beach to confront them, only to be pushed back. DENIED!
Mad Bloke and Venus had a short game of hide and seek by the generators. Awwww.
Cirques were not discouraged and did make an attempt to get to the flag, but were pushed back.
During the second round we got to see more of Oboe's phenomenal sniping skills when she sniped Mania in mid-air
while he was trying to get the laser. Poor guy.
TTL kept us pinned down in the base using all available vehicles
(warthogs, mongoose, mopeds, horses) while they stole the flag. They assumed their positions effectively
shutting down any attempts to recover the flag while it headed out towards the fan area. Bye bye flag…
I just have to say awesome job to Zeus with driving that Warthog. Way to demolish our entire team with your driving skillz
And our last offensive run did not go so well, but RevDotNed made a last ditch effort in the last 5 seconds to grab the flag but was greeted by TTL Max with a shotgun to the face. Round over.
Cirque Shoutouts:
-Mania for your 3 laser kills! YAY! Glad Oboe let you have the laser for a little bit.
-Mad and Dihn for scoring the highest while Rev had the most assists
-Dihn for leading the clan with the most headshots.
-The persistence award goes to Wolverine and Mania flag grabs.
-Flat for getting the flag returned the most, 4 times total and for scoring 16 medals.
Erick and I quickly hopped onto the Mongoose to implement our rush strategy only to be killed by TTL who were surprised
at the speed of our rush, but were quick to adapt to our strategy.
I did manage to plant it a little bit later by chucking out grenades to Venus and Oboe
who were trying to disarm. Unfortunately, that was the only time we managed to score the bomb.
Alpha and Sleeveen did an awesome job in the beginning, dominating with the Warthog while quickly taking down TTL's
Wartie, but after we lost control of the vehicles, we were simply being pushed back while TTL advanced quickly.
We were happy that we scored fast the first time, but were unable to repeat this to make another successful
run.

Cirque Shoutouts:
-Sleeveen and Alpha - great job with the vehicles guys!
-Rev, Ro and Pac did an excellent job on defense with Pac leading the Cirques with headshots
-Erick, Wolverine and I consistently tried to make a run for it and had the most bomb kills
Upon starting, TTL yelled out some code words that we didn't understand (probably because they were code words)
so why we pondered over the fact that they were cool enough to have code words and we probably needed some
code words too, we all scrambled in the middle, grabbing every available weapon we could find to grab the bomb.
This game was insanely intense. We spent FOREVER in the middle of the map, moving 1 inch at a time.
They kept swarming us and we kept um..dying. We finally managed to push through and plant the bomb twice.
Dihn demonstrated that he was king
of the bubble, Rovino planted the bomb, promptly died, and Dihn was left there with the countdown, facing 4 TTL
players…but Dihn had the shotgun and took them out. WHOO HOO!
Kudos to Rev and Ro for planting the bomb. Totally not what we practiced in clan practice but what the hey…just as
long as you don't expect me to like use a sniper or something.
I managed to get some weird freaky bomb kill by throwing a grenade right as the bomb went off so all I saw was
"Double kill, Triple Kill, Overkill, Killtacular, Killing spree". That was awesome. I will never be able to do
that again, so let me revel in my glory.
